2003 BUTCH MILES COUNT BASIE BIG BAND DRUMMER BUTCH MILES FLEW IN FROM TEXAS FOR MUSIC SPECTACULAR 2003. HE WAS TERRIFIC AND LOVED NOT ONLY MY BAND BUT WORKING WITH THE KIDS. HERE'S AN EMAIL HE SENT AFTER APPEARING IN MY 16TH ANNUAL MUSIC SPECTACULAR JAZZ FESTIVAL Hey Wilbur, I had a Great time. The band was cookin', the kids were sensational and the theater was wonderful - a blast from the past. I am honored that I was the third drummer that came and played for you, the guys and the kids. The food was sensational!!! Oy, am I stuffed. Anytime the kids are involved please count me in.
